I like to find out whats happening to Jeff and Stacey or Stacy. Jeff was excellent roller disco skater.. and he married stacy in between 1992 and 95... Last I know they moved to Charolette, NC. Anybody know what happened to them?? Jeff was good friend until a situation that ruined our good friendship.

I should have used the reply!! Read my comments, Muffins, in the guestbook.
Betty Kocik Karpinski says...
Mark I do remember you. I worked the snack bar for most of the 80's and 90's. I'm sure that others remember you too. I went back to the rink in 2001 to manage the rink until the day we closed November 16, 2008. It was a very sad day. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos, they are mostly my personal photos from years gone by.This is my husbands and my website we try to update it whenever we can. If you have any photos feel free to post them. If you were to see my photo I'm sure you would remember me.Look at the classic photos for Betty aka Muffin. Talk to you soon and I hope everyone enjoys the site!

Muffin, your face DO look familiar. I think you are the only one I can remember. Were you at... Jolly Rogers many times in late 90s?? You are short.. about my height. Right? You do remember me that well. Wow. That is good! How have you been muffin?? For me quite a bit and enough to have a lunch with you to catch up!! Hahha. I am still in the area.. in Liverpool. near that stupid mall.. (Carousel). I remember your face but I didn't recall you working the snack bar and didn't know you managed in 2000s.. I wasn't at the rink in 2000s.. maybe once or twice.. that was it. I wanted to remember the way it was.. not the newer ones. It was really sad they ruined the roof and the floor.. and all gray!! yuck! I was the one painted mural on the DJ side of the rink area. Wall to wall there. From the corner to the bathroom. Others did other walls.

I went down memory lane today, when I met up with two people that I haven't seen in a long, long, long time (Gary & Betty aka Muffin). Got talking about the times at the rink and I had not realized that for a few years prior to the rink closing that there were reunions being held. If I would have known I would have went. I took a look at the prior photo's and the recent ones as well and can't believe so many people still reside in the area that went to the rink. If I had to choose one time in my life that I will always remember and were the best times of my life was at Sports-o-rama. Maybe there will be a time when another reunion can take place. Michelle : )

Thanks to who ever is responsible for this site. I have spent the past two hours going through this site and it has brought back memories. I guess you can say I was a regular while growing up and will never forget the time I spent there or the people that I met. It is truly sad that Sports-O-Rama is now closed.
